When we were first married, I would order blue cheese on my salads when we dined out. Martha would always comment “how can you eat something that smells like an old sneaker, and tastes like puke?” And I would usually respond “you don’t know what you are missing. As tie went on, and our income got a little better. I would buy a container of blue cheese. Then I discovered how good queen count olives stuffed with blue cheese and submerged in a gin martini were.

Martha stilled abstained from eating it. Then our kids got older and they started eating it. Martha stilled maintained her abstinence. After our kids got married, at restaurant meals, everybody ate blue cheese except Martha.. I thought she would never change. However, when our grandkids became eaters of it also, she finally started eating it.

Her comment after that was.”I can’t believe i didn’t like it.”
