Although I live in a house and prepare my own meals for the most part, I sometimes go to the Town Center of Wesley Willows and dine. Wesley Willows is the retirement community that Martha and I moved to six years ago. During the first year here, Martha had some health problems that put her in the UW Madison hospital. Upon her release from there she spent some time in the rehab section of Wesley Willows. Many times, in the evening I would visit her and partake of the meals offered. To say I was impressed would be an understatement. I found it hard to believe that this was institutional food service. The food was properly cooked and presented in a neat display on the plate.

As I previously said, sometimes I go to the Town Center Bistro and purchase a meal. I have eaten breakfasts, lunches and dinners there. I found the food and service to be comparable to any restaurant here is Rockford.

In addition to the fine living conditions here, and the support from the staff, it is a comfort to know that I can always get what appears as a home cooked comfort meal here at the Willows.
