In reply to <a href="https://stumpmitchell.com/lincoln-trails/#comment-477">Al Herold</a>.

The Kentucky was the most remote trail and took two days to walk. Sounds like we had similar life paths. I grew up in Evansville Indiana. Was in the Marines 1956 to 1960.Then off to Purdue where I met the love of my life. Most everything else you can get off my blog. Thank you for the input

I walked 3 Lincoln Trails with Boy Scouts and Explorers. I was searching for info when I opened your site. In 1957 thru 1959 I walked the Springfield Trail and a wooded trail near Springfield. The third trail was in Indiana but I can't remember details. I will read more and comment. I grew up in Kirkwood, Mo (St Louis) 1943 to 1961 then MSM-Rolla, Mo. ROTC to Army Huey pilot in Vietnam.
1968 - 1970 After a couple jobs I landed in Charlotte, NC and started American Kitchens, inc 1980 to 2018.

The most memorable event was the sales meeting one year at Lake Geneva where Milt's Absolute Vodka seemed to go missing, as well as Mike for a couple of days.
